before the crown

Preserving Our Legacy for Posterity.

Watch. Learn. Preserve.

Preserving Our Story Before History Forgot.
Every crown has a beginning.

Long before history recorded great leaders, before the titles, the victories, and the world stage, there were ordinary moments that shaped extraordinary lives.

Some mothers prayed, fathers sacrificed, teachers guided, communities nurtured, and faith endured.

“The future cannot inherit
what the present fails to preserve.”

Before the Crown

This special project, funded by a generous endowment from SITEMEDIA, presents an original short documentary series by RasTafari TV Network, created to explore those formative years through carefully researched storytelling, cinematic visuals, and a deep respect for Ethiopia’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

This series is not about glorifying individuals. It is about understanding the journey that shaped them.

Our mission is simple:

To preserve history with integrity, honor tradition with reverence, and inspire future generations through truth.

Every episode is thoughtfully crafted by distinguishing between documented history, longstanding East African tradition, oral testimony, and matters of faith. We believe these stories deserve to be told with honesty, humility, and care.

As new technologies emerge, we are embracing responsible uses of artificial intelligence—not to rewrite history, but to help breathe visual life into stories that have too often remained hidden in books, archives, and fading photographs. Our goal is to create educational documentaries that make history accessible, engaging, and meaningful for audiences around the world while remaining faithful to the historical record.

This is only the beginning.

Before the Crown is the first chapter of a much larger vision to preserve African divinity, East African history, the ancient Tewahedo faith, Pan-African heritage, and the untold stories of our ancestors for posterity.
